- And I can hear the rain bouncing off the river
- I can hear the fire crackling like popping candy
- And I can see the bright sun coming through the trees.

Kia ora Ahron, My name is Mark and I used to work in South Hornby last year, maybe you still remember me. I love this writing especially the third sentence “I can hear the fire crackling like popping candy”. I can see the fire burning and crackling in my head from your description. What was the purpose of this piece of writing
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting but I am new to South Hornby school. the
Deletepurpose of writing was to describe what I could hear on the tv.
We had to write a descriptive poem about an image we saw on the tv. I had heaps of fun writing it.
